Directors Area Support Manager

The directors bring to the nurseries extensive and varied business experience enabling operating practises of the very highest standard. They are also parents themselves with 2 children, Oliver & Francesca.

In addition to running Old MacDonald’s, David and Mandy initially were Management Consultants for The Grove, commissioned by it’s directors to deal with the design, build and overall setting up of their staff day nursery and customer crèche facility. This ambitious project was successfully completed in 2004 and the hotel subsequently won AA Hotel of the year award 2005. Then from 1st September 2015, Old MacDonald’s took over the operation of this facility. Additionally Mandy has held many celebrity crèches at golf charity events liaising with the staff & children and attending to the celebrities’ requirements on the day.

Here at Old MacDonald’s, David deals mainly with administration i.e. accounts, payroll etc. and is responsible for the appearance & maintenance of the settings. Mandy has worked in childcare all her life. She gained her NNEB qualification in 1987 and has dedicated her life to caring for children ever since. Before opening Old MacDonald’s in 1998, Mandy was a private nanny for several families locally and in West London, worked at Watford General Hospital and managed a private day nursery.
